Ginseng Tea How Do I Make A Tea With Whole Ginseng Root?

How do I make a tea with whole ginseng root? - ginseng tea

I bought a whole ginseng root on the Korean supermarket today. I tea with him for use as a substitute for coffee, but I've never had this kind of tea before.

How can I use ginseng to make a cup of tea? How long should I boil water with ginseng in it? Is it ok to drink, this tea in the evening and I was better than in the morning?

1) coarsely chop the root. (This is more characteristics of the root extract in water can be in the root)

Step 2) with 1 tablespoon of tea. Root per cup of water

3) Place the root in a pot with cold water.

Cover 4) the pan and let simmer

5) As it begins to boil, then allow heat to lowest position, root and simmer for 15 minutes. If instead of simmer, you lose a lot of properties of the root.

Are 6) have at least 6 hours. The longer the fastest, most features are extracted. Normally, I root for my tea at night before bed, so it's ready when I wake up and not enough to last all day tomorrow.

You could take it at night if you want, but I believe that ginseng is more suitable for day use because it can give an energy boost. Otherwise, you may have difficulty falling asleep;)

I think you can do to cut the roots into pieces and then boil them in water filter, the roots of water and drinking water. But ... It might be better to get an income for this line. ^ _ ^
