Do You Have To Scald Milk When Making Yogurt Lactose Intolerant People (especially Asians) - Does Heating Milk Make It Okay With You?

Lactose intolerant people (especially Asians) - Does heating milk make it okay with you? - do you have to scald milk when making yogurt

My friend is Chinese and lactose intolerance. I've heard that the heat of the boiling milk easier to digest, but is reluctant to try because he knows he has diarrhea in the cold. Has anyone with lactose intolerance (Asian-Americans, especially Aboriginal people) have tried it and know if it works? Milk really is simply unacceptable, no matter how you (butter, yogurt, cheese, butter, etc.)? Thank you.

Lactose intolerance refers to an inability to digest lactose, due to an inability to produce the enzyme lactase. There are lactase supplements (eg, Lactaid) and can digest lactose intolerant person, milk and other dairy products. Heat the milk to my knowledge, reducing the amount of lactose.

It has to do with lactose in milk products. There are lactose-free dairy products.

It is a product called lactase, the milk with lactose removed. Most hard cheeses or older have little or no lactose in them.
